Upon reflection of the proposals of this budget, I feel that it is a constructive effort, to reduce poverty levels as well as the deficit so that the economic development is felt stronger” said Rishad Bathiudeen (Minister of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lanka) on 12 November.
Minister Bathiudeen was making his Ministry’s Budgetary speech at the House on 12 November.
“My Ministry has prepared a comprehensive speech to be delivered by me today on the performance of my Ministry. However, with so many empty seats, I have decided to table it” said Minister Bathiudeen.
