Leader of ACMC Rishad Bathiudeen MP (and Minister of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lanka) unveiled the European branch of ACMC and commenced ACMCโs international presence on 3 November in Geneva.
The inauguration event took place at Restaurant Le Repere located at Genevaโs Centre Sportif De Versoix, at 201, Route de LโEtraz.
The pioneering event was attended by many Sri Lankan Muslims living in Switzerland.
โWe ACMC are a new but an energetic party. We started as recently as 2005, and within the short span of a decade, we have grown from strength to strengthโ said AMAC Leader Bathiudeen MP and added: โTodayโs successful opening of ACMC European branch and the keen attendees to this event is a strong sign of the support we draw from our supporters.โ
The successful organising of the event was by Mr Muheez Wahabdeen, the Convener of ACMC Europe.
