All Ceylon Muslim congress (ACMC) will announce it decision on whom to support at the forthcoming Presidential Election on 12 December.
A delegation of ACMC, led by party leader Minister Rishad Bathiudeen met President Rajapaksa on Saturday (07) at the Temple Trees.
“Aย delegation of ACMC, led by me as the party leader met (HE) the President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Saturday (07) at the Temple Trees, but no final decision was reached. The outcome of the 07 December meeting will be analysed further and we are looking forward to make a final announcement on our stance on 12 December. As of now, we have not decided firmly on whom to support and newsย reportsย suggesting we have decided to back the incumbent President HE Mahinda Rajapaksaย areย therefore incorrect” said Party Leader Rishad Bathiudeen MPย (and Minister of Ind & Commerce) speaking from Riyadh.ย MP Rishadย is currently on a private tour to the Middle East.
